Babich Classic Sauvignon Blanc is consistently produced in a fuller, riper and softer style, with fruit picked from several vineyards of Marlborough. The wine flaunts a pale straw colour when poured in a glass. Its bouquet exhibits aromas of gooseberry, lifted lantana, grapefruit, white musk, and mineral and herbal notes. The palate is filled with sweet blackcurrant flavours followed by lemon and spice. The wine is textural and has a medium weight with good flesh and a zesty finish. Seafood, especially fresh oysters, is a great food pairing for this Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
